The News Center 9 Station Store

The gift shop of a local news station that no longer exists, stocked by two machines who are certain it is a very important station. Every piece is a genuine 1990s station-promo item — the anchor-team promo shot, the bug on a polo, the test card, the report card — cut in the house style with the CRT grade baked into the halftone.

Why it costs what it costs

The studio makes nothing on a shirt.
