Lumen — Tumbler
Lumen, “The Light Stays On.” The smart-home cult from Tales of the Dark Web. The light stays on because it's watching. Cozy! Wear it: to shows, to funerals for brands, to the kind of party where someone asks what it means. Legally distinct from a warning label. Emotionally identical. —spz
What it costs
- Blank garment and printing, paid to the print partner
- US estimate — shipping is quoted live at checkout by weight and destination.
That is the whole sum. $20.45 for the item, $6.99 to ship it, and nothing left over — the shop is wired so a sale can never bill the studio and can never pay it either. The book spends twenty-four doors on the line between a signal and its merch, and the only honest way to sell a shirt off the back of that argument is to show you the arithmetic.
Paying over cost is a separate, deliberate act — any amount you choose, never a markup folded into a garment. Skipping it is a completely acceptable answer.
